The Flooring Room Commercial team recently finished the four-story new building at 306 Cameron Road which is the new offices for Tauranga City Council. The development required 4500 m2 of carpet – that’s 22 pallets of carpet tiles weighing in at a whooping 11 tonnes. What’s even more impressive is that it was all transported up the lifts by hand! The project took roughly a month with 6 team members dedicated to putting it together.
The result? An area which looks great. Feature carpet tiles were used throughout using the company’s colours to help deliver a fresh, personalised touch. The Tauranga City Council also opted for a solution-dyed nylon which is highly cost-effective due to its durability and and fade resistant materials.
